Shotcrete finds extensive application in supporting and lining of tunnels, shafts and caverns.The Aliva range includes dry mix spraying machines (0.2 to 9.0 m3/hr capacity), universal wet & dry spraying machines (5.0 to 21.0 m3/hr capacity), concrete pump (10 to 30 m3/hr), hydraulic spraying (robot) arms for the mechanical application of sprayed concrete and dosing equipment for powder or liquid additives. We can also mount the shotcreting machine with hydraulic (robot) spraying arm & dosing unit on a local carrier to form an integrated shotcreting system.

M/s Metanoya Engineering of South Africa, are an internationally recognised group of companies, with extensive experience in the field of Mechanised Shaft Sinking and other Mine Development services for underground Mines. They have the distinction of designing one of the world’s first Shaft Jumbos, which are pneumatically operated machines for drilling vertical shafts. These machines are custom designed for each application, depending on the diameter of the shaft to be sunk. The machine is equipped with the desired numbers of hydraulically actuated booms, which in turn house special drifters for drilling. Compared to the conventional method of manual drilling, this unique concept enables operators to achieve much higher progress in shaft sinking. The expertise of Metanoya is not just limited to the design and manufacture of these machines, but extends to providing complete shaft sinking services including all surface headwork’s, winches, lining etc. In other words they have the capacity to handle challenging shaft making projects on a turnkey basis.
